Where to find cheapest Ahava products in Israel?

You might have heard about Ahava, a famous brand selling Dead Sea Cosmetic Products. In Israel, it’s likely that you come across their stores even if you didn’t know this brand before. Even not being a shopper myself, it’s very temping to look at prices of Ahava products in Israel. It is an expensive brand everywhere else in the world. And when you come to Israel, a very expensive country with a sharwarma costing you $13, suddenly Ahava doesn’t seem so expensive!

Where Do I Buy My Ahava Products?

Well, I like to travel light, so I wouldn’t shop for heavy things when traveling. So I waited till I’m in departure hall. And actually you find price slightly cheaper in duty free shop because… it is duty free~ Although the types of products are more limited. There is also Premier, another Dead Sea product brand.

Most of the time you will find 2nd item 50% off or buy 2 get 1 free deal.

In Jerusalem, you will find buy 2 get 1 free deal as well. But remember you need to spend at least 400 shekels to get tax refund (17%). I think it’s better to shop in the airport, plus it’s better to spend time on seeing this wonderful country than shopping in a Ahava store. IMO.

What are Ahava Prices like in Israel?

Now the best part. It depends on where you come from, but just imagine that you don’t need to pay for shipping and tax for buying AHAVA in Israel! It makes it hard not to buy AHAVA products in Israel. For example this moisturizer is only $5.

I should leave the surprise to you. But let me just give you an idea. So I bought this X6 Crystal Osmoter for $50, it is listed $97.5 dollars on Ahava’s official global website. And the extreme night treatment was for $46, but listed $103 online. I got the body lotion for $18, and it’s listed $32 online. So that’s the power of not paying for shipping and taxes! Expect everything to be 40-60% less from buying “abroad”!

This is my long receipt!

Conclusion

I have been picking up Ahava products from the airport departure hall. I just find it to be the most convenient. But if there’s a certain product that you use and want to restock in Israel, it might be a better idea to buy it from stores in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv as options in the airport’s duty-store is limited.
